Glenn T. Goodwin, Ph.D., DABFE, DABPS, FABMPP, President & Founder

Dr. Glenn Goodwin is a licensed psychologist in the State of Washington, where he has a private practice as a consulting neuropsychologist. He holds a M.A. in Counseling Psychology from the University of North Florida and a Ph.D. in Psychology from Utah State University. He has board certifications with the American Board of Forensic Examiners and the American Board of Psychological Specialties, in Forensic Neuropsychology, and he is a Fellow and Diplomate with the American Board of Medical Psychotherapists and Psychodiagnosticians. Over the past 17 years, he has been in clinical practice primarily as a specialist in clinical and forensic neuropsychology, performing expert witness consultation in the area of closed head injury and injury related problems. He has made numerous professional presentations and contributed scholarly work in the field of neuropsychology and health psychology.

 

John Thoburn, Ph.D., ABPP, Vice President, Clinical Advisor & Co-Founder

Dr. John Thoburn is a licensed psychologist and licensed marriage and family therapist in the State of Washington, and is Board Certified in family psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology. Dr. Thoburn received a M.Div. from Fuller Theological Seminary and a Ph.D. from Fuller Graduate School of Psychology. Dr. Thoburn is Associate Professor in the Department of Graduate Psychology at Seattle Pacific University where he has taught family psychology for the past eight years. He has been a featured speaker, trainer and clinician in the areas of trauma and compassion fatigue debriefing, and has worked internationally in the field of trauma over the past 18 years; in Uganda at the invitation of the Episcopal Church of Uganda, in Bosnia at the invitation of Swiss based Medica 3, and in India at the invitation of the Christian Counselling Centre and the Association for Psychological Counseling.

 

Tami Anderson Englehorn, M.S., M.F.T.

Tami Anderson Englehorn has worked in higher education and in private practice for the past 12 years.  She received her Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fuller Graduate School of Psychology.  She has studied and worked for the past 12 years in the areas of severe mental disorders, co-curricular higher education, campus ministry, private practice, cross-cultural issues of care, culture adjustment and international service.  She has lived and worked in international settings, including work in Belize, Bosnia, Mexico, Ukraine, Venezuela and the rural US.  She has served as a Board member for Alternative Missions and currently works as part of their missionary care team.  She has developed training and debriefing materials, conducted study with undergraduates and missionaries who "cross cultures" and been involved with cross-cultural counseling issues with private clients and refugees both domestically and internationally.  She has been awarded the Balswick Award for Cross Cultural Excellence.
