First Anniversary of the Tsunami

On this first anniversary of the tsunami, PsyCorps joins the world community in remembering those who are continuing to struggle with the aftermath of rebuilding lives and communities.  Survivors, along with relief responders and caregivers, are continuing to experience serious psychosocial consequences of the trauma…effects from the death of loved ones, the loss of a place to call home and the arduous process of starting over.  PsyCorps is committed to addressing the suffering of our international family by seeking to broaden our scope of providing psychological support to survivors and caregivers in this region of the world.
